BREAKING NEWS: Four Gregory School students became members of the Upper School Student Council’s Executive Council today after they ran for their respective positions unopposed.

Upper School students attended a special morning meeting today where the presumptive winners gave speeches about their plans for Student Council in fall 2016 and spring 2017.

Since no positions were contested, Gregory School Director of Admission and Upper School Student Services Mary Babbitt cancelled the election and students did not cast ballots.

Junior Jaiveer Katariya today became the 2016-17 Student Council President. Jaiveer Katariya ran unopposed, and he replaces his older brother Karam Katariya as Student Council President.

Junior and Chant staffer Caitlin McCormick became the 2016-17 Student Council Vice President. McCormick ran unopposed.

Sophomore Oliver Bates became the new Student Council Treasurer, while his sibling Alice Bates became Student Council Secretary. Both ran unopposed.
